Opening Weeks Should be Full of Communication and Reflection

For her library orientation with 9th graders, TU Director of Communications Mary Moser revisited her BreakoutEdu box activity. Her observation of students' interactions as they worked through their problem-solving reaffirmed her belief that "the more that we can have students collaborate with each other, practice working in a group, attempt creativity, the better our students will be". Mary's experience offers some great ideas for what educators can do to better encourage students' communication and reflective practices in group settings.
